GCN 2009: "We Are GCN"
GCN used to be just one person.
He built the ministry, paid for the services, made the decisions, and answered the phones. If he had the time, talent, and interest to do something, it got done. If he was too busy, it didn't. There was only one of him, after all.
Over time, GCN grew.
People liked this idea of a supportive Christian network, and they began to chip in their time, talents, and resources to make a difference.
GCN obviously wasn't "just one person" anymore. It became many things: a nonprofit organization, an online community, an annual conference, and more.
Now, with over 12,000 members around the world, it's time for us to declare that we are GCN.
GCN is all of us, the Body of Christ, working together with our unique talents and resources. Gay or straight, if you believe that the light and love of Christ are for all people, you can be part of the movement.
And together, we can change the world.
This year, watch for ways to get involved. Help us break down barriers and share Christ's light and love for all.
